This really isn't a big expansion more a medium size patch to be honest, I do get the feeling this has been rushed out to try and compete with Blizzard's "Wrath of the Lich King" due out on the 13th though, but hopefully i'll be proved wrong and this one has actually seen the QA department

You can hide them or have the certificate to be viewed by anyone as far as I know.

The difference is WOW had the memberbase to be able to do that, EVE doesnt, but that still doesnt take away from the fact that we pay alittle higher subscription charge so the expansions arnt realy free.

Although not a lover of WoW I do pay my other halfs sub for it and it works out on average ú2 a month cheaper than Eve
So over a year you probably do pay for the expansion that and expansions in WoW do contain alot of content normally. Having looked back at some of the older expansions you really notice how much stuff CCP use to add.
